Druzhba: From Seventeen Students to a Thriving Educational Community

Private Secondary School Druzhba

Every child is born with a spark, a natural curiosity about the world. But for that spark to become a lasting flame, it needs the right environment, the right encouragement, and the right mentors. That’s the philosophy behind Private Secondary Comprehensive School “Druzhba”—a school built not just to teach, but to inspire. Established on September 15, 2005, with just 17 students spanning from preparatory to fifth grade, the school embarked on a mission to provide quality education. By 2006, enrollment had grown to 62 students, and by 2007, it had nearly doubled to 115, reflecting the community’s trust and the school’s commitment to excellence.

The 2012/2013 academic year marked a significant milestone with the introduction of the high school stage, expanding the school’s educational offerings. By the following year, over 150 students were enrolled, ranging from kindergarten to ninth grade. This growth was not just in numbers but also in the breadth and depth of educational programs offered.

Druzhba’s approach to education is holistic, emphasizing not only academic achievement but also the development of social and emotional skills. The school employs innovative teaching methodologies, including Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), to ensure students are well-prepared for the global stage. With a focus on foreign language studies, students are immersed in a learning environment that fosters both linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness.

Beyond the classroom, Druzhba offers a range of extracurricular activities, from national and international Olympiads to summer language programs abroad. The school’s modern facilities, experienced faculty, and individualized attention to students’ interests and abilities create a nurturing environment conducive to learning and personal growth.

Today, Private Secondary Comprehensive School Druzhba stands as a testament to what can be achieved with vision, dedication, and a commitment to nurturing young minds. From its humble beginnings, it has grown into a vibrant educational community, shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
