The future conventional meeting of the CONNECTED-2024 in Kazakhstan will also present how the future from multicultural viewpoint, philosophical agenda, and technological intervention should be controlled. Planned for October 18-19, the forum will take place in Astana, with the participation of almost 1,500 delegates from more than 20 countries.
Key Topics of Discussion
Discussion will focus on various topical problems, such as how to generate intellectual capital for global leadership, how to improve competitiveness of the higher education, and how to elaborate new scientific models which meet modern challenges. They also believe that the future leaders need to be prepared in a new way hence the need for transformation in education systems will be discussed in the conference.
Schooling as the Central Form of Education
The last speaker was Daniyar Toktarbayev, director of the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education, stated that there is a need for immediate educational change. “In the modern world where the rate of change is higher than any expectations, it is not enough just to update the system of education, but it is necessary to reconsider its functions and goals,” he said. Challenges of globalisation should be addressed to educate the new generation, to prepare the society for the change, and open up opportunities for it to properly implement a change for the better, as the Kazakhstani academic pointed out.

As a result, the broad range of the target audience of CONNECTED-2024 will encompass futurologist and philosophers, technology leaders and policymakers, religious leaders, representatives of ministries and international organizations, as well as representatives of major EdTech companies.
